Niche red angus cattle farmer, Bow Creek Beef, set out to expand their business through an e-commerce platform that would enable them to sell beef nationwide. Sounds simple, but Bow Creek’s special breed inventory is limited, the product is perishable and shipping varies by product weight, distance and the necessary packaging required to keep the product frozen during transport.

The platform allowed flexibility for product updates, online orders versus in-store purchases, estimated shipping calculation and full customer interaction and personalization.
Since the launch of the e-commerce platform, customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience and Bow Creek is able to manage day-to-day inventory and order fulfillment. Sales continue to grow, as well as a customer database.
